Almost all novice bloggers make certain mistakes (easily avoidable, by the way). We analyze each of them in today’s post. Forewarned is forearmed!
Perhaps this is the main problem of those who set foot on the blogging path. The authors mix different themes – and this is the way blogs about nutrition, esotericism, room decor, relationships, and children’s development appear. It’s not multi-functionality – it deceives the reader. Such an approach resembles the eternal soul searching in childhood: today you want to become an astronaut, tomorrow – a teacher, the day after tomorrow – a doctor. But the youth is over; it’s time to set priorities.
The absence of a content plan
If you write only when inspiration comes, then someday your fuse is likely to dry out because of a cold, melancholy, workload … and many other reasons. Without regular publications, blog statistics are falling, and all your progress leaks away. That is why you should always stick to the content plan and have several posts “for a rainy day.”
Little time for blog development
At the beginning, it can take you up to 6 hours to develop a blog – to carve out such a substantial period, you need to optimize your schedule.
The number of subscribers is not growing, and someone even unsubscribes. Or you create a great post with stunning photos, and it gets only three likes and no comments. It’s natural for beginners to lose heart in such a situation, especially when they see mediocre cat photos gaining 5,000 likes and reposts. Don’t worry; it is normal! Continue improving the quality of your content and actively engage with your audience.
Accept the fact that it’s impossible to make a cool blog that will bring you a multimillion audience and tons of money overnight. You have to go a long way. Carefully study your readers’ tastes, choose relevant topics, improve the quality of content, communicate with the audience and sooner or later you will invent the formula for your success!
